Blackberry Calendar Not Synching

Problem:  Blackberry 8310 is not synching my Outlook calendar (though it is sending and receiving e-mail).  Here’s how to fix it:

1. Open calendar app
2. Click on menu key
3. Click on options
4. Set Wireless Synchronization to off
5. Exit calendar
6. Wait a minute or so
7. Open calendar
8. Click on menu key
9. Click on options
10. Set Wireless Synchronization to on
11. Exit calendar
Wireless calendar synchronization should start.  It might take a while to complete but synching should start almost immediately.

Outlook Contacts Categories Don’t Carry to Other Computers

If, like me, you use Outlook’s categories to help organize your contacts, you have probably noticed that the categories are computer specific.  Why this is, I have no idea but it is certainly stupid.  Here’s how to solve the problem:
